Research and Development
All replaced modules are returned to the ITS Repair Centre for full disassembly, investigation, repair and rework to ensure they are fit to be returned to service.
As part of this process, results are analysed to help identify any potential future fault trends before they are realised in other installed devices.
Proactive attendance to eliminate possible trends is then driven through various stages of the device lifecycle - including direct feedback to manufacturers, additional checks and balances at staging, commissioning and warranty/maintenance attendances. We also work closely with manufacturers to develop replacement or enhanced parts, which are installed via Field Change Orders and managed by our in-house Projects team.
